Most people do not need individual sessions.

The work shared in the webinar or, for others, the Accelerator Group is enough for things to settle, progress to begin, and confidence to return.

One-to-one work exists for a small number of people whose anxiety has very specific or long-standing patterns that benefit from more precise personal attention.

It’s not a higher level. It’s a different format for those who need it.

Some people just need the way across a bridge pointed out to them.

Others want to cross the bridge with a group or posse for camaraderie on the trail.

Some of us would just rather someone hold our hand and walk with us until we find our familiarity with the bridge.

None is better than the other. None ‘more brave’ or ‘more capable.’ It is just about what is needed for THIS bridge, for you. The right option is different for each of us for different ‘bridges’ our lives.


ALL of us will have some we can charge off alone on with minimal guidance.

ALL of us will have some challenges we need to do with others.

ALL of us will sometimes need someone to hold our hand and walk with us a while.

Knowing the truth of that keeps the arrogant humble, and offers those suffering from inadequacy and comparison hope.

I offer:

  • Focussed Single Session
    A single, focused session for clarifying one area where things feel stuck or unclear. These are for gaining clarity, perspective, or calibration support specific to you and your situation,

  • Fixed Sessions
    A short series of sessions offering focused guidance as you apply the work in real situations and let it stabilise in daily life. 1 to 2 months has consistently proven to be enough.

  • Mentoring
    A short-term mentoring container offering messenger access between sessions, for calibration, perspective and strategising around live situations, or their immediate aftermath.

    This is only for a few who may need it. Mentoring suits those in periods of dynamic change, breakthrough, crisis or transition in their life. The pace of life is such that a week is too long between sessions because so much is happening. Mentoring, like sessions, is usually 1-2 months.

A Final Word

Needing one-to-one work doesn’t mean something has gone wrong. It simply reflects that some patterns need specific attention, not more effort.

What Does One to One Work Look Like?

  • One-to-one work may be appropriate if:

    • Anxiety consistently centres around very specific situations that you can’t seem to get breakthrough in

    • There’s a history of looping behaviour despite having insight

    • A group setting doesn’t feel suitable

    • You’re noticing subtle patterns or features internally that don’t resolve easily on their own

    This is support specific to your contexts and situations, not higher intensity.

  • Individual sessions:

    • Are focused and time-limited (usually 75-90 minutes)

    • Do not need to involve digging into the past, though the past may come up as we work

    • Do not require special insight or capacity, but they do require you to honestly share what is going on in the situations and patterns you want to address.

    • Do not involve long commitments of weekly support. Some people just want one session to ‘check a few things.’ Others do need longer with someone there to help. I have found that consistently, up to 8 weeks is the usual maximum required.

    We will look carefully at where your system gets pulled off balance, and help it settle naturally, and repeatedly, addressing the exact features/patterns which show up for you.

  • One to One Work with Me

    • Isn’t therapy, though it may produce therapeutic benefits

    • Isn’t a ‘pre-defined programme’ - it is responsive to your need

    • Isn’t open-ended support - you won’t need endless sessions to feel equipped and able to ‘go it alone’

    • Isn’t about fixing you - if anything, it’s helping you discover how unbroken you are, and that any sense of brokenness…is the broken bit!

    If you’re looking for on-tap reassurance without doing anything at all, this won’t be the right fit.

  • One-to-one work is offered by conversation exchange, not instant booking.

    If you’re curious, you’re welcome to get in touch below and briefly outline what you’re noticing and would like to address.

    We’ll then decide together whether individual sessions make sense, or whether something else would be more appropriate.

  • Individual work is offered in a time-limited container, rather than endless open sessions like in some therapies.

    Depending on what’s appropriate, this typically involves a small number of focused sessions 1-2 months, usually not more.

    Fees usually fall in the range of £1000 - 3000 depending on duration and whether it is sessions or mentoring.

    A single session is possible for very specific support.

    This is £325 as a single fee and is more of a focussed support session on a targetted issue or situation.

    All sessions will last around 75-90 minutes, sometimes a bit more.

    If this feels clearly outside what you’re looking for, that’s completely fine.
